Our Offer

We are offering intensive language courses, tailor-made to your personal requirements. Either ten days in a peaceful and quiet mountain resort or a hotel at the sea, where you are able to fully concentrate on the new language. We can also come directly to your company and teach your personnel at your own premises. At the moment we are offering German, Italian and English. Further languages upon request. Our Services

The Concept

The original concept for our intensive language course was developed a long time ago for UN employees who had to go at short notice into disaster areas (famine, earthquake, floods, etc.). In order to communicate with the local people, these crisis helpers had to learn the local language in the shortest possible time.

For this reason, a language course was developed which allowed the participants to completely immerse themselves in a new language within a period of only ten days and a daily workload of twelve hours, without any disturbances from the outside.

Major focus during this training was the pure communication. Writing, grammar and vocabulary learning were only incidental or completely eliminated.

This concept was partly adapted by us and new elements have been added, based on years of language teaching and learning. Today we are proud and happy to make this unique learning system available to private and professional users.

The Language Training

Our language courses are held within small groups of four to seven people to thus guarantee a maximum learning success. Since the workload with twelve hours daily is very intense, we take hourly breaks, so the participants can recharge their batteries.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are taken together with the teacher and even during the meals we will communicate in the target language and use the previously gained knowledge and dialogues. After dinner we will show a movie in the target language. Participation is recommended but not mandatory.

The actual training course is interactive and due to the various animations, photo stories and dialogues it never becomes boring. It is also important to understand that the actual speaking time for all participants is at least 90%. Almost all speaking exercises are done synchronously as a group, and in doing so the participants lose their fear of speaking within a very short time.

No boring grammar, no tiring writing exercises and no vocabulary learning. Everything is purely intuitive.

Additional Program

During the ten-day course we will include one “activity day” during which we will shift the training from the classroom to the outside. Of course, always accompanied by your teacher and the target language. The activity program will be finalized after receipt of all applications, number of participants, their individual interests and of course the weather conditions.

For the location „Antico Cornio“ in Italy we have planned the following activities:

Guided tours with the Electro-Mountain Bike;

Guided Quad tours;

Trip by mini bus to Sestri Levante, Cinque Terre or the winery Colli di Luna;

Tour through the Vara Valley, the largest organic farming area in Europe and visit of local organic food producers;

Guided tour by motor boat (option tuna fishing in the Gulf of Tigullio) with lunch on board.

The Locations

Antico Cornio

The Antico Cornio is a classical „Agriturismo“ which combines in an ideal way healthy nutrition of organic origin with the traditional Italian way of cooking. Bread, Pasta, Pizza and Focaccia are made fresh on the premises, of course by using only organic ingredients. Vegetables, salad, fruit and eggs come predominantly from their own garden and chicken coop. The mushrooms are collected in their own 11-acre large forest. Even the meat that you will be served originates from animals that were fed strictly with organic food.

During the summer months there is a swimming-pool available for your personal recreation. However, you can always go for a ride on an Electro Mountain Bike or just walk leisurely through the virgin forest. A sauna and a jacuzzi are already in planning.

Also, the beautiful Riviera is only 30 minutes away by car.

To the Agriturismo

Liguria

In Italy our event location is situated in the Ligurian Apennines, in the middle of Europes’s largest organic farming zone, the so-called “Val di Vara” or Vara Valley. All farmers in this particular region specialize in the production of organic products. Wine, olive oil, cheese, pasta, jam and honey, all originates from purely organic farming.

The beautiful Ligurian sea, also known as the Riviera is only 30 minutes away by car. Here are numerous incredible world heritage sights, such as the famous Cinque Terre region with its five unforgettable villages, perched on top of the cliffs like birds’ nests and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, or the world-renowned Portofino. But also, the port city of Genoa with Europe’s largest historic center is worth a visit and can be reached within less than an hour.
